Lava Rock Beads come in all different shapes and sizes, and one of the things I was impressed with these is how lightweight they are. You could make some fairly chunky jewelry without having to worry that it would be too heavy to wear comfortably. They are basically made from the rocks that are left after a volcano erupts and then the mass that comes out cools and forms rocks. They look very natural and earthy and will make great jewelry.
These have been dyed but will hold oil just fine if you wish to add your favorite essential oil to the beads.
