Pink murex sea shells are sometimes called "Pink-mouth Murex". They are found from W. Mexico to Peru. The pink color is darkest on the inside but they're a light pink and white with some brown splashes on the outside. Pink Murex Seashells, or Phyllonotus erythrostomus, are great accent pieces because of their distinctive pink and tan elements that are unique to each shell. Shells may have small holes which are a natural imperfection.
Each piece is unique and will vary from one to another. They are around 2 inches to 2 1/2 inches in size.
